sailing on the swan

This annual event, generously supported by Camp Quality and the executive and members of the Royal Perth Yacht Club, is dedicated to providing the families of seriously or terminally ill children with a memorable day on the Swan River sailing in one of an fleet of beautiful cruising and racing yachts. The sail is followed by a meal on the lawn of the Royal Perth Yacht.

The event provides some much-needed respite for the families of the ill children. It also goes some way toward providing the siblings, who in many cases feel overshadowed by the ongoing special needs of their less fortunate brother or sister, with a day to remember.
